Japan

After following the tragic events in Japan, I decided to design some flyers incorporating Red Cross’s Message to make a contribution to help Japan.  Feel free to print, share, and display.

NYC Gift Shop

NYC Concept Gift Shop Rendering.  Creating a high end feel for the average NYC souvenir shop.

Shoe Store Design Concept

Shoe store designed to accentuate the luxury of high end womens’ shoes.  With highly reflective surfaces, the curved feature walls allow the shoe to stand apart by its material and color.  The minimalistic materials keep the ambiance of the overall store in a luxury feeling.  Simple flexible features allow easy changes to the store according to the season.

497 Greenwich Street

497 Greenwich Street combines a new building with an old brick factory building, creating a combination of old and new architecture.  Appreciating the unique aesthetic of the building, it was selected to be used for my thesis project.  Analyzing the interior floor plans, building structure, and functionality, the interior was gutted for my martial arts center.  Applying a unique 104.5 degree atrium into the building structure and column grid was a challenge.  The atrium is a structure with two sheets, with water flowing in between.  The unique angle represents the creation of water, the only angle which hydrogen bonds with oxygen to form water.  Co-existing with the atrium are classrooms, exhibits, health bar, and gift shop.
